Support that feels genuine, respectful, and grounded in real life.
NDIS Independent Support Work
Alongside counselling, I offer NDIS-funded independent support work for people who want practical, compassionate support to build confidence, independence, and meaningful connection in their everyday lives.
I’ve been supporting NDIS participants and their families since 2023, walking alongside people living with dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, neurological differences, and neurodivergent experiences. My support is warm, respectful, and grounded in real life — focusing on what truly matters to you, not ticking boxes.
This service is separate from counselling and focuses on day-to-day support, community access, and skill-building, always guided by your goals and at your pace.
Who This Support Is For
I work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants who are looking for:
Support with community access and social participation
Assistance attending appointments and activities
Help building daily living skills and confidence
A calm, reliable presence to walk alongside them in everyday life
My approach is especially suited to people who value a gentle, relationship-based style and want to feel supported without being rushed, pushed, or overwhelmed.
My Approach
Support is:
Trauma-informed and affirming of individual differences
Strengths-based and person-centred
Grounded in trust, consistency, and respect
Focused on building independence while offering steady support
I aim to create a space where you feel seen, encouraged, and capable — not managed or judged.

Client Experience
“Sahra is one of the most supportive, positive, encouraging ladies I’ve ever met. She has been my Support Worker through NDIS for some time and I can’t thank her enough. She inspires, gently encourages and assists me to achieve my goals, assists me with appointments and gets me out in the community each week. I feel nurtured, cared for and encouraged to achieve my daily tasks and meet new goals.
If you are looking for a Community Support Worker, I highly recommend Sahra. She is all you need to feel supported and encouraged, both physically and emotionally, all wrapped up in one complete package. She is invaluable.”
